The Seattle Flute Festival is held each spring and is our largest event of the season! 

There is something for everyone, including:

  • Recital and Workshop with renowned flutist and composer Valerie Coleman

  • Premiere of newly-commissioned work by Ken Benshoof

  • Final round of the Young Artist Competition for advanced players under the age of 30

  • Flute Choir Showcase featuring our very own Seattle Flute Society Flute Choir and ensembles from around the region, plus the annual Bach Air play-along

  • Young Members’ Recital for students in the 6th Grade and younger (sign-up will be available in February or March 2020)

  • Presentation by the 2020 Weeping Willow Trust Flute Teacher Grant Recipient

  • Commercial Exhibits with major flute vendors from around the country

  • Raffle: prizes include lessons, flute repair, gift certificates, and accessories!
